First Year Degree & Diploma Students Induction Programme
The First Year Degree & Diploma Students Induction Programme was successfully organized by K.J.I.T. on 3rd August, 2026, at the S.B. Auditorium. The programme was conducted in two sessions, from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. and 1:45 P.M. to 3:30 P.M., with the objective of welcoming newly admitted students and familiarizing them with the institution's academic environment, values, and facilities.
The programme commenced with the registration of first-year students, followed by the invocation and formal inauguration. The Principal delivered the welcome address, extending warm greetings to the students and their parents. The address emphasized the importance of discipline, academic excellence, ethical values, and active participation in co-curricular and extracurricular activities for holistic development.
The Heads of Departments introduced their respective departments, faculty members, and support staff, providing students with an overview of the academic programmes and learning opportunities available at the institute. Detailed information was shared regarding the institute's vision, mission, academic regulations, examination system, library resources, laboratories, student support services, and other campus facilities.
An orientation session on institutional discipline, attendance requirements, code of conduct, and anti-ragging guidelines was conducted to ensure that students understood their responsibilities and the standards expected of them. Students and parents actively participated in the interactive session, where their queries were addressed by the faculty members and institute authorities.
The induction programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the management, Principal, faculty members, staff, students, and parents for their enthusiastic participation. The event provided a positive beginning to the academic journey of the newly admitted students and helped them feel confident and connected to the K.J.I.T. community.
