Electrical Engineering Students Visit Hydro Power Station at Sardar Sarovar

The Electrical Engineering Department of K.J. Institute of Engineering & Technology (KJIT) organized an industrial visit to the Hydro Power Station at Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Limited on 8th February 2025. The visit was coordinated by Mr. Prakash Shukla and aimed at enhancing students’ understanding of renewable energy generation.

During the visit, students explored the working of hydroelectric turbines, control mechanisms, and water management systems, gaining practical insights into sustainable power production and its importance in India’s energy mix.
