Expert Lecture on Admixture

The Civil Engineering Department of K. J. Institute of Engineering and Technology organized an expert lecture on the topic of “Admixture” on 11th September 2025.

The session was delivered by Mr. Kanaiya God, Assistant Manager, Admixture Division, Sika India Pvt. Ltd. He explained in detail the role, importance, and applications of admixtures in modern construction practices, highlighting their contribution to enhancing workability, strength, and durability of concrete.

The event was further graced by the presence of Mr. Anil Sharma, Area Manager, Gujarat, Sika India Pvt. Ltd., as a special guest. He shared valuable insights on large-scale infrastructure projects and discussed the upcoming Bullet Train Project in India, emphasizing how advanced admixture technology supports such mega projects.

The session was highly interactive, where students and faculty members actively participated and clarified their doubts. The expert lecture broadened the knowledge of participants and provided practical industry-oriented exposure.
